Care in the Community Autumn 1 2022

Well done to Luna and Sol for helping at a local care home. Brians, for really going the extra mile to help his brother and the environment, especially animals! It was great to see how many children are being proactive and picking up litter. Well done to Maisie, Fred, Eddie, Oscar, Lillian and Iris. We were very impressed to hear about how Grace had helped the Afghan and Ukranian refugees, as well as homeless people. Also, how Daniel has helped his mum after her operation, Robyn has been making cards from recyclable materials, and how her sister Martha is doing a sponsored Danceathon for Tommy’s appeal. You can see from the picture, Arthur has done a fantastic job of transforming his front garden, much to the admiration of passers by. I know Chloe’s neighbour appreciates the support she has been providing for her too.  All the children received a certificate in assembly and were invited to a special tea party. The overall winners this half term all showed in lots of ways why they deserve to be our ‘Care in The Community’ Champions. Well done to Grace, Brians and Eddie.
