Play Leader Council

The Play Leader Council at our school plays a vital role in enhancing playtime experiences for all children. Their primary focus is to promote active engagement and ensure a high level of care and inclusivity on the playground. Play Leader Council members lead a variety of games and activities, encouraging everyone to participate and stay active. They meet once a half-term with our sports coach and a teacher to discuss ways to improve playtime, making it more enjoyable and beneficial for all children. The council members also receive ongoing training to develop their leadership skills and ensure they can support their peers effectively. Through their work, the Play Leader Council fosters a positive and active school culture, contributing to the physical well-being and social development of our students.
