Wellbeing Council

The Wellbeing Ambassadors at Alexandra Park Primary School play a crucial role in enhancing the wellbeing of all children. As positive role models, they foster a supportive environment that encourages healthy habits and emotional resilience. The ambassadors organise various activities, such as Care Days and class initiatives focused on wellbeing, designed to engage students and promote a sense of community.

In addition to their activities, they connect classroom discussions to real-life news and parliamentary initiatives, helping students understand the relevance of wellbeing in broader societal contexts. This approach not only informs students about current events but also empowers them to discuss and advocate for issues that matter to them.

Furthermore, the ambassadors serve as a vital link between students and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), ensuring that the voices of all children are heard. By reporting back on students’ feedback and suggestions in parliament meetings, they help shape wellbeing strategies that reflect the needs and interests of the entire school community. Through their efforts, the Wellbeing Ambassadors create an inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive.
