Breakfast and After school club

We know it is important for many of our parents that we offer comprehensive wraparound care. We also know that this care and quality of provision at both of these clubs should align with our school values.

Breakfast club runs from 7.45am every day. On offer is a range of healthy breakfast cereals, bagels, toast, juice and water. More than this though, we offer a friendly environment where the children interact and play with each other supported by our dedicated team who all work in our school during the day too. During this time, we really do prioritise making sure that every child is ready for their school day and that the children are safe, happy and have fun! Whenever possible, we make use of our outdoor space, which the children really enjoy.

The cost of breakfast club is £3.25 per day which should be paid through SchoolMoney.

Before 2019, our children who needed after school care used to go off sight to various providers. This was expensive for parents and often meant a long walk straight after school, which wasn’t pleasant for the children, especially in poor weather.  After collecting feedback from our parents, one of the ways they felt we could improve the school, and to help them and their children, was to provide this service in school. This led to us opening our own after school club. Like our breakfast club, it is run by people who already work in our school and understand the values we have, and levels of care we expect for our children. There is a great  atmosphere at the club with one of the highlights being how the  older and younger children interact. For example, the older children will often listen to the younger children read or help them play games. We offer a huge range of activities from football to ipads; from art and crafts to board games. Children can also receive support with their school work if they choose or they can simply enjoy the time they are there.

If the children are staying after 4.30pm, we provide them with a light meal. Children can also access any of the activities we run after school, and then make their way to the after school club when they have finished.

There will always be a space for any child who needs to use our wraparound support. What we politely ask is that all bookings are made in advance wherever possible to help us manage our staffing levels and provide the children with the highest levels of care.

We accept government tax free childcare vouchers for both breakfast and after school club
