Our Commitment to Collaboration
At Alexandra Park Primary, we believe in the power of collaboration—not only with other schools but also with respected organisations like the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF), the Prince’s Teaching Institute (PTI), White Rose Maths, and the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM). Together, we form Communities of Practice, a concept rooted in the idea that schools sharing a common interest can grow, improve, and innovate more effectively by working and learning together.
We embrace an open exchange of ideas and best practices. This approach helps Alexandra Park and other local schools to continually improve, creating positive change for students beyond our own school walls. In line with Bridget Phillipson’s recent focus on collaboration over competition, we are committed to building partnerships that amplify collective impact.
By connecting with other schools and expert organisations, we enhance our ability to implement evidence-informed practices that improve educational outcomes. Working within these supportive, knowledge-sharing partnerships benefits all schools, teachers and children and strengthens our shared goal of expanding life opportunities for every child.
