Local Communities of Practice

In practice, our commitment to collaboration and shared learning and improvement is exemplified through two key partnerships: The Edgeley Partners (Alexandra Park, Larkhill Primary, Rose Hill Primary and Ladybridge Primary School) and a long standing partnership with St Joseph’s Primary and Queensgate Primary School. These collaborations centre on sharing best practices and leadership expertise, as the leadership teams from each school conduct peer reviews of each other’s key school improvement priorities. Through these reviews, we gain valuable insights into our own practices and learn from the strong strategies and practice in place at partner schools. This collaborative process not only strengthens our teaching and leadership but most importantly benefits every child at all our schools. 

Working together in this way allows us to embody the principles from our partnership overview: we believe in collaboration over competition. It’s a privilege to be part of networks where schools, teachers, and students collaborate to achieve better outcomes for all, creating a unified effort to improve education and life chances across our community.
